So, since Ella has been born, I've gained a little weight. I believe this is called "sympathy weight," which just goes to show how guys can be sensitive at times.
The other morning, I woke up with a stomach ache and wasn't feeling too well. Ella asked me what was wrong and I told her my stomach hurt. She asked, "Daddy, do you have babies in your tummy?" This wasn't the first response I was expecting, and I'm pretty sure I'm not heavy enough to look pregnant. But, it did give me pause to reflect on what my New Year's resolution might be. -PK
