Home Sweet Home

Morgan is finally home. We brought her home around noon yesterday, two days after her original due date. In fact, since a baby usually stays around two days at the hospital after being born, Morgan had impeccable timing.

Our first night went well, although we are already behind in sleep. Morgan has been sleeping well, but her feedings are a struggle. We've also learned that she can get VERY angry if she doesn't get fed right away. As with many of her not-so-charming traits, I think she gets her impatience from her Mom. ;)

Ella has been a great big sister so far. She wants to help feed her, kiss her head, help her with her binky, and touch her hands. I think they are going to be just fine together.

It's only been about 24 hours with two kids, but I'm already exhausted. But, it's a good exhaustion and it's great to all be together. Here's a picture of one of Ella's and Morgan's first encounters. If you are a parent, this is what it's all about.

Congratulations, Kasper family!

This will be a day long remembered...

So glad Morgan is doing better and finally able to come home.

Hopefully we will get a chance to see all of you sometime soon! Until then, we will continue to remember you all in our prayers.
