Just a quick update on Morgan before I go to bed.
Holly couldn't see Morgan today since Holly now has a sinus infection and ear infection. This is on top of pink eye she had a couple of days ago. In all the years I've known Holly, I've never seen her this sick...except maybe the week after she had Ella.
So, after work and getting the girls to bed, I drove to Fairview to see my little girl. The nurse told me she had been cranky in the early evening and said she probably needed a dose of Daddy. I rocked her for about an hour and a half and she slept most of the time. She was cranky in the beginning and actually cried for a few minutes, which was the longest I've heard her cry so far. I'm sure I'll get used to it very soon. ;)
They are starting to input her milk continuously through a drip mechanism...set at around 3 ccs every hour. They plan to update the volume a little bit each day. The nurse reiterated tonight that it would probably be a long process.
She is still sucking on her vanilla-flavored pacifier with much enthusiasm, so we just need to get her tummy healed.

Sorry to hear that Holly is so sick. This bug is tracking across the country. I had the same thing in January, and had to fly with the ear infection (talk about pain!). It seems like it takes about a month to get over, and goes from sinus to eyes to ears... Get well soon!
