Smart President? Time for a Change!

Got this interesting tidbit in my inbox today...

Based on education, if you were going to hire two people to lead the most important business in your country, which pair would they be?

Obama:
Columbia University - B.A. political science with a specialization in international relations.
Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude
Occidental College - Two years

Biden:
University of Delaware - B.A. in history and B.A. in political science.
Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.)

McCain:
United States Naval Academy - Class rank 894 out of 899 (meaning that, like George Bush, McCain was at the bottom of his class)

Palin:
Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester
North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study
University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism
Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester
University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. in journalism

From wikipedia:
"Lincoln's formal education consisted of about 18 months of schooling, but he was largely self-educated and an avid reader."

Guess you don't need a fancy degree from Harvard to be a great President.

It's not Obama's education or smooth-tongued public speaking that worries me. It's his liberal extremist philosophies and social agendas...

In fact, a fancy degree from Harvard can also produce a horrible President, which has been proven the last eight years. So, you win the argument that education doesn't matter. ;)

But, about your "avid reader" statement. Looks like Palin beats everyone with this exchange:

COURIC: And when it comes to establishing your world view, I was curious, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this — to stay informed and to understand the world?

PALIN: I’ve read most of them again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media —

COURIC: But what ones specifically? I’m curious.

PALIN: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years.

COURIC: Can you name any of them?

PALIN: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news.
