Greetings from Florida

We are having a great time on our trip. Here are a few pictures.

Our road trip took around 23 hours, and the girls did great. Portable DVD players are wonderful!

We knew Ella didn't quite comprehend how long the trip was going to be. After driving for only 4 hours, we were at the Wisconsin border and we stopped at a rest area. It was still bitterly cold and it was getting dark. Ella sleepily asked, "Are we in Florida now?" Pretty funny. In contrast, when she talked to her friend Kaari when we finally got down her, she told her that we were a "long, long, long, long way from home." I guess the 3-day trip gave her some perspective, even for a three-year old.
