Warning: Political Commentary
So, you knew it had to happen. And, of course, The Daily Show is the only news organization to bring it front and center. I'll try to have a link to the idiotic statement from Bush's press secretary, Tony Snow, when it becomes available on youtube.
The Republicans are now saying that the reason Iran, North Korea, and the Iraqi insurgency are escalating their violence and "evil" is because they want the Republicans to look bad so the Democrats win back the House and Senate. This type of fear mongering isn't anything new from the Bush administration...but, what?
Why would Iran, North Korea, or the Iraqi insurgency want the Republicans to lose control? I mean, it seems to me that violence and nuclear proliferation seem to thrive on the Republican watch. At least the Republicans are helping someone. :)
