o.k., so everyone has their own theory about the origin of life. If God did create earth and all of its inhabitants, I think he kind of messed up on the whole ear thing.
This weekend, when Holly was away to celebrate her Mom's 75th birthday (Happy Birthday Gay!), both Ella and Morgan got colds and eventually ended up with ear infections. This happened on my watch and on my weekend. Let's just say it was one of the worst weekends of my life...which gets me back to the whole ear thing.
Earaches usually occur in small children...nuff said. So, this painful situation occurs in little tiny babies and toddlers who can't tell you what's wrong and scream continually when they feel pain. Not a great story. Maybe God can get it right with his Earth 2.0 release. However, I'm worried that there are a number of other bugs in the queue before he gets to this one. :)

I wholeheartedly agree. I think the human body provides several examples of how (a) evolution isn't doing its job or (b) intelligent design isn't so intelligent:
- Why do babies have to go through teething? Why not just put the teeth throught the gums to begin with?
- Why don't elbows bend both ways?
- When you become a parent, why don't you grow an extra pair of hands?
And don't get me started on childbirth...
