The West Wing-Part 2

Holly and I stayed in the West Wing for the past few nights in what we hope is the final stage of Morgan's stay at the NICU. Morgan has passed all her apnea tests and the doctor's have concluded that is just prematurity and her spells will go away in the next month or so. She will be on a monitor for the first month, but it's very easy to use and it is mostly needed when she sleeps.

So, if all goes well, Morgan will be coming home on Monday, which is one day after her original due date of March 5th.

Tomorrow, Holly and I plan to get things ready for her arrival. We also want to spend some quality time with Ella before she has to share us with her little sister. Ella has had a very fun week with her (Great) Aunt Vonnie, Aunt Michelle, and cousins (Danielle "Nan-nia" and Nathan), but she was glad to see us tonight which made us feel good.

Here's a picture we took of Morgan this morning. So far, she's been sleeping very well and her feedings are improving every day. I'm not trying to get my hopes up, but it looks like we're all going to be together very soon.
