One of Those Days...

Have you ever had one of those days? Well, that was today...here's what happened to me on February 3, 2006.
  • Our newest daughter, Morgan, had her 3rd surgery in 14 days. Holly and I spent 7 hours at the hospital...most of it waiting and worrying.
  • After coming home from the hospital, our other daughter Ella had a fever of over 100, so Holly and I took her to urgent care and found out she may have the beginnings of pneumonia. We spent over two hours in a room with a tired and sick 21-month-old, and Ella had to have x-rays taken, a nebulizer treatment, and blood work done. Then, we had to go to the drug store to get her medicine.
  • After we got home from the urgent care at around 8:00 p.m., the garage door wouldn't shut...I worked on it for about 30 minutes and then ended up shutting it manually. Did I mention it was about 10 degrees when I was out trying to fix it?
  • And, I just tried to set up a new wireless router, which should be easy, and it doesn't work. So, I connected the old one back up.
Now, I'm not complaining or anything (o.k., maybe a little bit), but I just don't know what I've done to deserve a day like today. The good news is with everything that happened today, Morgan is resting comfortably in her bed tonight and hopefully her newly connected bowel is already healing.

I think it's time to go to bed.

Paul
