Well, Morgan is having another surgery tomorrow at noon (Friday). We found out last night that her first bowel surgery didn't take and they have to try a different procedure. The good news is that the bowel will recover faster with the new procedure, so we still may be on the same time table for her to start eating on her own. The bad news is that this is her third surgery in 2 weeks.
The type of bowel surgery performed on Morgan the first time usually has a 95% success rate. I'm not taking Morgan to Vegas anytime soon. ;)
Holly spent much of the day with Morgan today. I went to the hospital in the morning and rested in the afternoon. I had a migraine last night so I wasn't at 100% today. When it rains, it sometimes pours.
Morgan looked really good today. The nurse had put a little red bow in her hair and she is gaining weight. Her Jaundice is going away and they took her off the lights today (she is a pretty pink baby now). When I held her today, she had her eyes open for quite some time and was checking everything out.
It is great having Holly's Mom here to help take care of Ella when we are away. Holly and I are doing o.k. and we're going to go spend time with Morgan before the surgery tomorrow morning.
